Effective October 4, 2026
These terms apply to the VesselBoss app and to the vesselboss.com website. VesselBoss is a product of iFalcon.net, the company you contract with. By creating a boat, subscribing or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. About us
VesselBoss is developed and operated by iFalcon.net, a marine electronics company based in Panama City, Panama. Charges for VesselBoss are made by iFalcon.net.
2. The service
VesselBoss is an app to keep the records of a boat: repairs, scheduled trips, logbook and position reports, shared between the people the boat's administrators invite. It works in a web browser on phones, tablets and computers and can be installed from the browser.
VesselBoss is a planning and record-keeping tool. It does not replace the manufacturer's service schedules, professional inspections, navigation equipment, or the captain's judgment about the safety of the vessel. Position reports depend on the device, its GPS and its signal, and must not be relied on for navigation or emergencies.
3. Accounts and access
- You sign in with a code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping that email account secure.
- Each boat has Admins, Operators and Viewers. Admins decide who has access and can remove anyone at any time.
- A Viewer's access lasts 30 days from the day they join the boat.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for having the right to share it.
4. Free trial
Every new boat can be used free for 30 days, with all sections and up to 25 users. No card is needed to start. If no plan is chosen by the end of the 30 days, the boat becomes read-only: its records remain visible to its users, but nothing can be added or changed until a plan is paid. We do not delete the records of a read-only boat because the trial ended.
5. Plans and prices
Subscriptions are per boat and per month, in US dollars (USD):
- Solo: USD 7, for 1 user, with 1 GB of storage.
- Team: USD 25, for up to 5 users, with 5 GB of storage.
- Elite: USD 45, for up to 10 users, with 10 GB of storage.
- Enterprise: USD 95, for up to 25 users, with 25 GB of storage.
Admins and Operators count as users, including people who were invited and have not accepted yet. Viewers do not count. Customers in Panama are charged 7% ITBMS in addition to the price. Prices may change; we will notify the boat's Admins before a change applies to their next monthly charge.
6. Payment and renewal
- Plans are paid by credit or debit card inside the app. Card payments are processed by a secure third-party payment processor. iFalcon.net does not store your full card number.
- If you choose a plan during the free trial, your card is saved and the first charge is made the day the trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically every month and the saved card is charged, until you cancel.
- If a monthly charge fails, we tell the person who pays by email and try again once a day for 5 days. During those days the boat keeps working. If the charge still fails, the boat becomes read-only until a valid card is entered.
- You can change to another plan at any time. The change is immediate and the new price applies from the next monthly charge. A smaller plan can only be chosen if the boat's users fit in it.
7. Cancelling
An Admin can cancel the subscription at any time in the app, under Menu, Subscriptions. The card is not charged again and the boat keeps working until the end of the month already paid; after that it becomes read-only. See our Refunds & Cancellations policy.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use VesselBoss or this website for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious code, to access the data of boats you were not invited to, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
9. Your content
The records, photos and notes you enter belong to you. You give iFalcon.net permission to store and process them only to provide the service. If you ask us to close a boat, we delete its records as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Availability
We work to keep VesselBoss available and your records safe, but the service is provided as it is. It may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, such as failures of hosting, internet or mobile networks.
11. Intellectual property
The VesselBoss and iFalcon.net names, this website and the VesselBoss software belong to iFalcon.net.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, iFalcon.net is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost trips, lost income or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription that the claim relates to during the 12 months before the claim.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Panama City, Panama.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
